On Saturday, August 9, 2026, Vaughan Jiu-Jitsu Academy hosted the VBJJ Invitational at our academy at 130 Racco Parkway, Unit 5. Kids, teens and adults competed in front of a room packed with families, teammates and friends.
The kids divisions
The kids went first: nerves at the edge of the mat, then big smiles once the first match was done. Win or lose, every one of them stepped out there and competed, which is the hardest part.
The teens and adults
Then the teens and adults took over, with tough matches across the belt levels and plenty of hands raised.
Thank you
Thank you to every competitor, coach, referee, volunteer and parent who made the day happen. See the full photo gallery for more pictures from the day.
