About Vaughan Jiu-Jitsu Academy
Established in 2022, Vaughan Jiu-Jitsu Academy is where ordinary people come to learn a new skill and grow as a person. We not only teach martial arts skills, focusing on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling, but we also emphasize the development of the whole person, from character development to physical development, as well as community service.
Our comprehensive approach to fitness and martial arts sets us apart from any other Jiu-Jitsu Club based in the city of Vaughan. We look at the big picture and combine the best aspects of all types of martial art facilities to embody this approach and redefine what a classic Jiu-Jitsu academy can be. Since showing up can be the hardest part, we strive to make sure that everything else is taken cared of by us.

Our Academy
At Vaughan Jiu-Jitsu Academy, all our instructors' lineage can be traced directly to Grand Master Helio Gracie. We provide Jiu-jitsu self-defense, anti-bullying techniques and high-level sport jiu-jitsu instruction. We offer over a clean 3000 square feet of mat space, 5 change rooms, 2 bathrooms and a shower facility.
We are a martial arts academy dedicated to providing high-quality training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense. Our instructors are highly experienced and dedicated to helping their students learn and progress in the art. We offer classes for beginners, intermediates and advanced practitioners so that everyone can reach their full potential. No matter your level of experience or ambitions, we have something to offer.
In our classes, we go beyond just teaching techniques and emphasize the importance of proper physical conditioning and nutrition. Our approach is based on a well-rounded mindset, with the aim of helping you become the best possible version of yourself.
